2021 NFL Draft: Huge QB trades in pre-Super Bowl mock draft
2021 NFL Draft: 30th pick
The Buffalo Bills have one of the more complete rosters in the NFL right now, and because they are clearly in a competing window with the core they have, they can afford a little bit of luxury with this selection.
Running backs are not valued as highly in the draft as they once were, but Travis Etienne is the type of player who would add a ton of value to an offense like Buffalo’s.
Although with nearly 800 touches in his college career there could be worry about some mileage, Etienne plays the game like a seasoned veteran already and can contribute on all three downs.
Over the last two seasons at Clemson, Etienne really grew as a receiver out of the backfield with 85 receptions and over 1,000 yards. He has proven in his time with the Tigers that he can be a home-run threat with his long speed.
With Josh Allen and this passing game in Buffalo, adding a playmaker like Etienne in the running game could give them tremendous balance and someone who is just a model of productivity. He had at least one touchdown in 46 of his college games.
He’s going to bring a ton to an NFL locker room and I think in Buffalo with Brian Daboll, he will be a very quick study.
