Kadarius Toney and other 2021 NFL Draft prospects seeing their stock rise

D’Wayne Eskridge, WR, Western Michigan
A team looking to add a speedy wide receiver on day three of the draft would be wise to look at Western Michigan wide receiver D’Wayne Eskridge. This past season, Eskride was one of the top players in the MAC as he led the conference in receiving touchdowns with eight and finished third in yards per catch averaging 23.5 yards a reception.
He was also able to help out on special teams this year as well, averaging 27.5 yards per kickoff return and returned one kickoff for a touchdown.
This was quite a season for a player who spent his first couple of years at Western Michigan seeing time at both cornerback and wide receiver. The fact Western Michigan could not settle on where to play him is part of the reason he only caught three passes in the first two games of the 2019 season before he missed the rest of the season with a broken collar bone.
This Senior Bowl week will be a big week for Eskridge as he will have the chance to prove several things to NFL scouts. The first one being that he is a player who can run every route on a route tree and is not someone who can just run deep routes. He will also need to prove he can be a physical receiver who can win with more than just speed.
