The Denver Broncos are another team that could easily consider a move at the quarterback position if one were available. With that option not realistic in this mock draft, Denver attack a different position of need with the selection of Virginia Tech cornerback Caleb Farley.

Farley is a converted wide receiver who has not been playing the cornerback position long. He does need some more reps in coverage in order to reach his full potential but the physical skill-set is there for him to be a shutdown corner on the outside.

Farley is an extremely long and athletic cornerback prospect who is sticky in man coverage and shows great instincts in zone. He changes directions extremely well for a player of his size and has the speed needed to shut down the deep passing game as well. Farley’s time at wide receiver has served him well in his transition to defense as he clearly has strong ball skills for a defensive player.

While Farley is far from a finished product, his physical skill-set makes him a clear candidate to go in the top 10 of the 2021 NFL Draft. His combination of size and movement skill is special and should make him an impact player for Denver at an important position of need for many years.
