The Bears need to solve their offensive issues to not waste their elite defense for another season

Chicago Bears

20th overall pick

The Bears have officially committed to sticking with Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace for at least the next season, but at quarterback, there should be major changes.

Playing in the NFC North, winter is tough. Heck playing in Chicago you get winds that will blow you around walking downtown, trust me I live there for half of the year.

Jones fits into what the Bears need, a strong-armed quarterback that can make good decisions and has the ability to get the ball into playmakers hands.

The biggest question that the Bears will face is whether or not they’ll make a push to retain star wideout Allen Robinson. The odds don’t look good so they will need to replace him as well.

If they are able to continue to build the offensive line and see continual growth from the rest of the young wideout core, they could once again ride their defense to another wildcard spot in 2021.

Will Chicago Bears fans be happy to land back in the playoffs? Yes. Will they be happy with ANOTHER wildcard loss due to their offense? No. Therefore drafting Jones is a step in the right direction, the next step would be ensuring he has the proper talent around him.
