player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. IDL. Texas A&M. Bobby Brown III. 6. 873

Bobby Brown III may not offer much as an interior pass rusher, but he is a strong and stable run defender who can make a consistent impact in the middle of the field. Brown is powerful at the point of attack, holds strong anchor against double teams and is quicker off of the ball than you would expect. He will primarily be an early-down defender at the next level but Brown would undoubtedly bring a ton of value to the Atlanta Falcons’ defensive line.

The Atlanta Falcons have already made some solid additions to their defensive line in this 2021 NFL mock draft but there is still more work to be done. Patrick Johnson is an extremely versatile defensive line prospect who shows the ability to make an impact on the inside, outside and even as an off-ball linebacker.

Johnson shows an impressive combination of raw strength and athleticism that gives him an exciting ceiling up front at the next level. With some proper development, he could easily grow into an impact defensive lineman.

Zach McCloud. Scouting Report. Miami (FL). LB. 6. player. 834. Pick Analysis

Zach McCloud lacks ideal size at the linebacker position but he is a fast and athletic defender who fits the modern NFL extremely well. The Falcons could certainly use some quality depth at the linebacker position and McCloud’s ability to range around the field and make plays would make him a strong fit for the team.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 7, 225th overall

Scouting Report. Memphis. player. 858. Pick Analysis. WR. Damonte Coxie. 7

With their final pick of this 2021 NFL mock draft, the Atlanta Falcons take another shot on some upside at the wide receiver position. Damonte Coxie does not have elite speed and may struggle a bit to separate at the next level. However, he is a tough and physical receiver who competes well for the ball in the air.

Coxie shows impressive contested-catch ability, a wide catch radius and snatches any ball thrown near him out of the air. He could quickly grow into an impact possession receiver for whoever takes him late in the 2021 NFL Draft.
