The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers will face off in an extremely important Week 17 matchup at Soldier Field on Sunday afternoon. There are major playoff implications for both of these teams, as Green Bay can take home the top seed in the NFC (home field throughout the playoffs and a first-round bye) with a win, while Chicago will make the playoffs with a win.

This is not a must-win game for either team, as the Packers can still get the number one seed if they lose (and the San Francisco 49ers beat the Seattle Seahawks) and the Bears can still make the playoffs if they lose (and the Los Angeles Rams beat the Arizona Cardinals). That being said, both teams would like to put their destiny in their own hands and come away with a win. This rivalry matchup is always heated, but the stakes have been raised in this specific game.

MVP candidate Aaron Rodgers leads the way for Green Bay and he has had a ton of success against Chicago throughout his career. Rodgers is 19-5 in the regular season against the Bears throughout his career. Chicago undoubtedly has a tough defense that could give Rodgers issues, but he is a legend for a reason. Expect Rodgers and the Packers’ offense to take care of business in this one.
