Cowboys vs. Eagles live stream: How to watch online and more
How to watch Cowboys vs. Eagles via an online live stream on Sunday afternoon
As of right now, the 6-8 Washington Football Team leads the NFC East and they control their own path to the post-season. That being said, all four NFC East teams are still very much in the race and could get into the mix if they win their last two games. For obvious reasons, this Week 16 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles will be important in determining who will win the NFC East.
For the 5-9 Dallas Cowboys, the path is pretty simple. They need to win their final two games (this matchup against the Eagles and next week against the New York Giants) to go to 7-9 on the year. On top of that, Dallas needs Washington to lose their two remaining games (on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers and next week against this same Philadelphia team).
The path is also pretty straightforward for the Eagles. In order to reach the post-season, the Eagles need to win their final two games, have Washington lose one of their final two games and have the Giants lose one of their final two games. Simply put, everything is still up in the air in the NFC East and this battle between the Cowboys and Eagles will be incredibly important.
The biggest story in this game will likely be Eagles’ quarterback Jalen Hurts and whether he will be able to continue to shine under center for the team. Hurts has been a much-needed spark for Philly late in the year and appears to have a bright future on the team going forward.
If he can continue to play well and lead this team into the playoffs, it is going to be difficult for Philadelphia to go back to Carson Wentz next season. Hurts is likely playing for the starting job next year over these last two games. Can the struggling Cowboys’ defense keep the rookie in check?
