Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse

The free safety position stands out as an obvious position of need for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2021 NFL Draft. This safety class is interesting, but there are unlikely to be any prospects who make a push for the first round. With this in mind, addressing their need at free safety in the middle rounds would make the most sense.

Andre Cisco was on track to be the top safety prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft class earlier this season. He is an extremely athletic safety prospect who shows fantastic range and impressive ball skills on the back-end. Cisco is a legitimate impact playmaker who could shine as a single-high safety at the next level.

The only reason that Cisco is now unlikely to be the first safety off of the board is the torn ACL that he suffered this season. This injury is obviously less than ideal, but it does create a potential discount on what it will take to land him. The Jacksonville Jaguars should look at Cisco as one of their top targets on Day 2 of the 2021 NFL Draft. If he progresses well from his injury, Cisco would be a massive steal at a major position of need for this team.

Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida

If the Jaguars want to get the most out of their new franchise quarterback, they must surround him with impact talent. Targeting an offensive lineman like Slater or a tight end like Freiermuth helps accomplish this goal, but adding an impact wide receiver would also be a major step in the right direction.

Wide receiver does not stand out as a massive position of need for this team, but it is not like they are loaded there either. Taking advantage of the depth at the wide receiver position in this class would certainly make plenty of sense and Kadarius Toney out of Florida stands out as a great target.

Toney has taken his game to the next level this season, growing into a more well-rounded role for the Gators. Before, he was just a gadget player who needed touches schemed for him. Now, he has established himself as a strong route runner who can make an impact in a variety of roles.

Toney uses his incredible quickness and explosive athleticism to create separation from the defensive and is dynamic after the catch. He can win with raw speed and elusiveness and also shows incredible contact balance for a wide receiver. Simply put, Toney is a fantastic natural playmaker who has massive upside at the next level. Adding him to the mix in Jacksonville would immediately make their offense a much more dangerous unit.
