How to watch Patriots vs. Chargers via an online live stream
For the first time in seemingly forever, the New England Patriots are on the brink of missing the playoffs. The Pats have won three of their last four games to keep themselves in the conversation at 5-6, but are still on the outside looking in. Cam Newton and company will likely have to win all five of their remaining games to even have a shot to make the playoffs.
On Sunday, they will travel West for a matchup with rookie quarterback Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers are limping along at 3-8 on the year, but the play of Herbert as a rookie has undoubtedly been encouraging.
He has taken his game to the next level as an NFL quarterback, slinging the ball all over the field and consistently making plays for his team. Herbert is showing an extremely live arm, great athleticism at the quarterback position and a willingness to push the ball down the field and go for the big play.

Herbert has been fantastic this season, but will undoubtedly face a tough test against the Patriots this week. Bill Belichick and company will be looking to make life difficult on Herbert in this one. The Patriots always disguise what they are doing on defense extremely well pre-snap. This will obviously be difficult for the rookie quarterback to handle. We will learn a lot about Herbert in this game.
Offensively, the Patriots continue to struggle along and do just enough to get the job done. Newton has been solid, but inconsistent. The Pats clearly do not want to put too much on his shoulders, but Newton has shown the ability to step up and make plays when they need him to the most.
It is much easier to move the ball on the ground against the Chargers than it is through the air. This is a good sign for New England who will undoubtedly be looking to pound the rock and make life easy on Newton. Running back Damien Harris could be in for a big game in this one.
