Would the Philadelphia Eagles really use two consecutive first-round draft choices on the wide receiver position?

As big of an overhaul as the Eagles saw at that position in 2020, it’s not impossible to think they could go receiver again in 2021.

DeSean Jackson hasn’t proven he can stay healthy for a long enough period of time that he should be anything but a WR4 type of player for the Eagles right now.

Alshon Jeffery has also really struggled badly to stay healthy over the last three years, and he’s a bigger-bodied possession receiver who is going to be 31 next season.

Jalen Reagor has just 19 receptions in six games this season, and even with the emergence out of nowhere from Travis Fulgham, wide receiver is an area the Eagles could and probably should address.

Depending on what other players are sitting on the board, the Eagles might be hard-pressed to find anyone who offers better value in the top 10 picks than Ja’Marr Chase of LSU.

He won the Biletnikoff Award in 2019 as the top wide receiver in all of college football, and Chase’s all-around complete game would pair nicely with Reagor’s speed and after-the-catch ability.
