Denver Broncos 3rd-round pick

This selection makes plenty of sense for the Denver Broncos in rount three.

The Broncos have seen Garett Bolles emerge as one of the best left tackles in the league in 2020, something nobody saw coming.

Even with Bolles’ emergence, question marks at the tackle position remain.

Bolles is in a contract year and the Broncos will have to figure out how to retain him. Ja’Wuan James should be back in the 2021 season after opting out of 2020 due to COVID-19, but his injury history is concerning.

The Broncos have gotten really nice production out of Demar Dotson as a reserve right tackle, but is he going to play again in 2020?

The Broncos need to draft a hedge for Ja’Wuan James and potentially even Garett Bolles. The big concerns with Little right now are obviously on the medical side. He played one game in 2019 when he was expected to potentially be the OT1 in his class, then opted out of the 2020 season.

That’s a lot of football for a young player to miss.

My guess is Little’s draft stock is going to be firmly on day three by the time the evaluation process is done, but this positional projection seems like a good fit for the Broncos.
