2021 NFL Draft: Three-round 2021 NFL mock draft with top 10 surprises
2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 33rd Overall
The New York Jets continue their impressive haul in this mock draft by kicking off the second round with the selection of Penn State tight end Pat Freiermuth. Freiermuth is the most well-rounded tight end in the 2021 NFL Draft class, showing plenty of value in the passing game and as a run blocker.
Freiermuth is a big and athletic target who is a consistent matchup nightmare in the middle of the field. He is too big for most defensive backs to defend and too fast for most linebackers. First Trevor Lawrence, then DeVonta Smith and now Pat Freiermuth, the New York Jets have improved drastically in this mock draft.
2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 34th Overall
After beefing up their offensive attack in the first round, the Jacksonville Jaguars make an addition on the defensive side of the ball here in the second. Eric Stokes is a long and athletic cornerback prospect who shines in man coverage on the outside. He shows impressive natural ball skills and does a great job of uses his long arms to consistently make life difficult on the receiver.
A long-term cornerback duo of C.J. Henderson and Eric Stokes would undoubtedly have a ton of upside in Jacksonville.
2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 35th Overall
The Bengals significantly improve Joe Burrow’s protection in the first round of this mock draft and here, they add to his group of playmakers. Rondale Moore is one of the most explosive players in the 2021 NFL Draft class, showing a ridiculous combination of speed and quickness that makes him a threat to score from anywhere on the field.
The Bengals already have a nice group of receivers, but Moore is simply too talented of a player to ignore here. Cincinnati needs to do whatever they can to build around Burrow and adding Moore to the mix is undoubtedly a step in the right direction.
