2021 NFL Draft: New mock draft with Justin Fields, Zach Wilson rising
The initial results of the Tom Brady era in Tampa Bay have been outstanding.
Aside from a major clunker on Sunday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints, Brady’s Bucs have been very good on both sides of the ball.
The Bucs have made notable strides defensively under defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, whose aggressive approach and very fast personnel have made for a deadly combination for just about every offense the Bucs have played.
Bowles could be a head coach candidate in 2021 and the Bucs are also slated to lose some key veterans defensively, one of the notable names being Ndamukong Suh. Suh could always re-sign for a decent price, but the Bucs could get a nice hedge in the 2021 NFL Draft with Jay Tufele, an attacking interior lineman who can play a number of positions.
With Vita Vea back healthy next year and Tufele, the Bucs will have no problem creating pressure from the inside-out.
