NFL Trade Deadline 2020: Top trade targets from each division
By Ian Higgins
The NFC West is currently the most competitive division in football between the air-raid Cardinals, super bowl incumbent Niners, the revived Rams, and Russell Wilson’s Seahawks. That being said, I doubt any of these teams will be putting their players on the chopping block unless a serious offer comes across their desk.
After being brought in from Miami at the deadline last year, Kenyan Drake exploded for 8 touchdowns and over 800 yards through the air and on the ground. This same kind of production was expected with even more weapons and an additional year within the system for Kyler Murray. Up to this point, Drake has disappointed with a single touchdown on 72 touches for 274 yards.
Arizona is currently paying Drake $8.4 million on a one-year deal, making him a rental candidate for teams pursuing that final piece to the puzzle. Las Vegas has built their offense around bell-cow Josh Jacobs, but have lacked a receiving threat out of the backfield up to this point.
Drake would be a major upgrade over Jalen Richard and would instantly become a favorite target for Derek Carr on the checkdown.
