2021 NFL Draft: Round 1, 27th Overall

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. IDL. Jay Tufele. player. USC. 27. 55

Jay Tufele is a big and powerful defensive tackle prospect who shows impressive power at the point of attack. He is a stout run defender who can plug in the middle of the field if that’s what is needed out of him. That being said, Tufele can be much more than that.

He is an extremely athletic player for a man of his size, showing impressive quickness off of the ball and tremendous natural upfield burst. Tufele can undoubtedly attack the quarterback as an interior rusher on a consistent basis. The Pittsburgh Steelers have a talented defensive front, but could certainly use a big guy like Tufele in the middle.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 1, 28th Overall

Minnesota. player. WR. Pick Analysis. Rashod Bateman. 28. 15. Scouting Report

Rashod Bateman is another exciting wide receiver prospect who may be able to make a WR1 case next April. This wide receiver class is loaded with talent, but Bateman is undoubtedly among the best.

He is a big and strong target who consistently shines in contested-catch situations. Bateman shows impressive body control in the air and has a knack for coming down with the ball in traffic. He is also an exciting playmaker with the ball in his hands. Bateman is a smooth athlete who displays impressive elusiveness in the open field and shows great contact balance for a wide receiver.

Bateman would be an absolute steal in this range and an ideal fit for the New Orleans Saints. Whoever ends up playing quarterback for the Saints in 2021 would undoubtedly love to have a guy like Bateman added to the mix.
