Shaun Wade, 2021 NFL Draft
Defensive back Shaun Wade /

Scouting Report. Ohio State. Pick Analysis. CB. Shaun Wade. 16. player. 47

The New England Patriots have done extremely well without Tom Brady, all things considered.

Their defense has been such a great sum of its parts with Bill Belichick still scheming and game-planning as well as any coach in the league.

Surprise, surprise.

The Patriots have evolved with Cam Newton as their quarterback, but this team is always going to be a tough out defensively.

Shaun Wade not only represents an awesome value here for the Pats, but would fit their scheme beautifully as a versatile defensive back who can excel in man coverage, as a blitzer, and coming up in run support.

If Wade can show out as an outside corner in 2020, he could very easily work his way into the top 10 discussion and stay there.
