How to live stream the Monday Night Football matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans Saints.

The New Orleans Saints will play host to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football this week. The Saints enter this matchup at 2-2 on the year and have not looked like the Super Bowl contender that we expected to see. Drew Brees and company are still a threat in the NFC, but this team looks far behind the true powerhouses around the league.

The Chargers currently sit at 1-3 on the year, but there is a lot to like about this team going forward. Most of the excitement around this team centers around rookie quarterback Justin Herbert, who has played well through the first few games of his career.

Despite losing his first three career starts, Herbert is completing 72% of his passes for 931 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions. He has also piled on 47 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries for good measure.

Herbert has not been perfect, but he is playing smart and in control for the Chargers. He clearly has massive upside as an NFL quarterback and should be taken seriously one of the premier young quarterbacks in the league. We are only three games in, but Herbert sure looks to be the future of this franchise. It will be interesting to see what he can do against a tough Saints’ defense on Monday night.

Fellow Chargers rookie Joshua Kelley is another important player to keep an eye on in this game. Kelley will be taking on primary running back duties for Los Angeles with starter Austin Ekeler out of action. Can the rookie back take his early-season success to the next level?

The Saints will be looking to get their offensive attack on track in this one but will have to do so without star wide receiver Michael Thomas. Thomas entered the week listed as questionable with an ankle injury but is reportedly sitting out due to an altercation with a teammate at practice. The Saints will need Emmanuel Sanders and Tre’Quan Smith to continue to step up and make plays in Thomas’ absence against the Chargers.

On paper, the Saints are probably the better team in this matchup. That being said, this New Orleans team has struggled this season and the Chargers appear to be a team on the rise. Expect a close matchup in this one as these two teams look to get their seasons back on track.
