Who should trade for Washington QB Dwayne Haskins?
The Washington Football Team seems to be moving on from former first-round pick Dwayne Haskins rather quickly.
Haskins has played 13 NFL games, has had three head coaches in that time (one of the interim variety) and a variety of offensive position coaches and new teammates around him (not all good ones, either). Those are among the many reasons (not excuses) why Haskins has reasonably struggled throughout his first NFL action.
The Washington Football Team appears to be moving on from him and the reason I say it like that is right here:
Dwayne Haskins wasn’t taking snaps at Washington practice today.

Unless Washington has a trade lined up, this is absolutely pathetic treatment of a player you expect to be your franchise quarterback.
Haskins was by no means handed the keys to the organization when he got to Washington. He had to beat out Case Keenum last year for playing time.
With limited action as a rookie, a shortened offseason with a new coaching staff, very few actual weapons to get the ball to, a porous offensive line, and many other factors, the Washington Football Team appears to be misplacing some blame here.
Many young quarterbacks struggle to find their footing and it seems like too many people expect Patrick Mahomes-like ascent from young signal-callers these days.
The Buffalo Bills have been a model of what patience and support of a talented quarterback prospect looks like, but they have had the luxury of winning while Josh Allen develops.
It’s a shame we’re even having to talk about this, but the dysfunction in Washington is clearly not all gone.
Even considering Haskins has not played great through his first 13 NFL games, there’s no reason other teams should forsake the chance to acquire a player with his talent and try to properly develop him.
Which teams should buy low right now and take that shot? Let’s look at five.
