A look into what Tamorrion Terry brings to the table as a 2021 NFL Draft prospect.

Career Statistics: 101 receptions/1,984 yards/17 Touchdowns

NFL Comp: Mike Williams

The wide receiver class in the 2020 NFL Draft was considered by many to be one of the best groups of incoming pass-catchers of all-time. Highlighted by the likes of CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy, and Henry Ruggs III, there were six receivers taken in the first 25 picks of the Draft, and another seven taken before the end of the second-round.

That amount of depth at the position is not something we see very often, but as we dive into the tape of this year’s class, it’s entirely possible we could see even more receivers come off the board in the first two rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Unfortunately, to the chagrin of college football fans, many of the top prospects have chosen to opt-out of the 2020 campaign. Huge stars like Ja’Marr Chase, Rashod Bateman, and Sage Surratt have all chosen to forgo the season to ready themselves for their NFL careers (though Bateman could come back yet). The good news is that there are still plenty of other big-time wide receivers that could benefit from their absence.

Purdue standout, Rondale Moore, has opted back into the 2020 season upon the news of the Big 10 returning to play.

Alabama’s dynamic duo of Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Smith are already projected to be first-rounders and Chris Olave and Terrace Marshall Jr. could play their way into that discussion as well. But there is one more name that I think still has a shot to get some first-round chatter by seasons end and that is FSU’s Tamorrion Terry.

Unlike some of the other players who have had the privilege of catching balls from the likes of Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa, Terry has had the unfortunate luck of having to build his 2021 NFL Draft resume off of the arm of James Blackman.

However, somehow he has made do with his situation and has put up big numbers in the process.

This Tamorrion Terry scouting report will dive into what Terry can do at the next level, while also highlighting some areas where he could stand to improve as he looks to rise up the ranks of this extremely talented 2021 receiving class.
