2021 NFL Draft: New York Jets find new franchise QB in NFL mock draft
2021 NFL Draft: Round 1, Pick 15
Let’s add some explosiveness to the Chicago Bears’ offensive attack. Allen Robinson is a clear number one receiver on one side of the field, but he is a free agent after the 2020 season. Anthony Miller is coming along nicely, but this team still undoubtedly lacks impact depth at the wide receiver position at the moment.
Luckily for Chicago, this draft class is loaded with talent at wide receiver again and Jaylen Waddle stands out as one of the most interesting players at the position.
Waddle is a freak athlete who shows an incredible combination of quickness and speed at all times. He changes directions on a dime, gets up to speed in an instant and easily separates from the defense with his tremendous burst. Waddle is an extremely dangerous deep threat and is also a fantastic playmaker with the ball in his hands.
He is also a solid route-runner who can separate from man coverage and has an impressive catch radius for a guy who primarily wins with speed. Waddle is also an impact special teams player who will undoubtedly make an impact in the return game at the next level.
Chicago simply needs to find more impact playmakers on the offensive side of the ball and Waddle has a chance to quickly become one of the best in the 2021 NFL Draft class. Snagging him here at No. 15 feels like a potentially franchise-changing move for Chicago.
