Defensive Line (6, 35/53)

  • 1. Leonard Williams
  • 2. Dexter Lawrence
  • 3. Dalvin Tomlinson
  • 4. B.J Hill
  • 5. Austin Johnson
  • 6. R.J McIntosh

The Giants decided to bring back Leonard Williams who they acquired from the Jets mid-season last year. They franchise tagged him and now, Williams is set to make around $16 million this year.

2019 first-round pick, Dexter Lawrence is also back and set for a potential breakout year. Lawrence had 2.5 sacks and 38 tackles last year and was a big help with the rush defense.

According to PFF, he earned a 76.3 run defense grade, which ranked 21st among the 117 qualifying interior defenders.

Also on the line is fourth-year man, Dalvin Tomlinson. Tomlinson had a career-high 3.5 sacks and 7 tackles for loss. Tomlinson will help mainly against the rush defense, but he can generate occasional pressure on the QB.

Johnson, McIntosh, and Hill should all see rotational snaps, but mostly to give rest to the starters.
