2021 NFL Draft: Trey Lance lands in top five of way-too-early mock draft
Las Vegas Raiders’ projected win total: 7.5
With Richie Incognito at left guard, Rodney Hudson at center and Gabe Jackson at right guard, the Las Vegas Raiders have arguably the best starting interior offensive line in the entire NFL. Those three come together to form an outstanding unit across the middle and one of the strengths of their entire football.
With this being the case, the interior offensive line obviously is not a major need for this team. However, they could certainly use a nice injection of youth at the position. Creed Humphrey is extremely likely to be the top interior offensive lineman in the 2021 NFL Draft class and should be able to play either guard or center at a high level in the NFL.
Humphrey is a quick and athletic offensive lineman who gets out in space and blocks well at the second level. He also has heavy hands and consistently plays with proper pad level. Humphrey is a strong run blocker, but he really shines in pass protection on the inside.
Humphrey does a great job of getting out of his stance and getting into position quickly in pass protection. He has quick feet, shows a strong, accurate punch, and anchors at an extremely high level. Humphrey is a top-notch pass protector on the interior offensive line and will be able to protect his quarterback well from the center or guard position.
This is not the biggest need for the Raiders, but Humphrey is an extremely tough and talented football player who could quickly grow into a valuable offensive asset for this team.
