Which AFC West team is the most improved looking ahead to the 2020 NFL season? Can anyone dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs?

The Kansas City Chiefs have people talking about the ‘D’ word ahead of the 2020 NFL season.

That word is, of course, dynasty.

I remember when I first started writing at NFL Mocks in 2011, the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers and it really felt like the Packers with a young, seemingly unstoppable Aaron Rodgers, were going to be the NFL’s next dynasty.

Nine years later, and the Kansas City Chiefs are giving similar vibes.

Patrick Mahomes is just 24 going on 25 years old, and he’s already won the NFL’s MVP award and is a Super Bowl champion and Super Bowl MVP. The Chiefs’ core is mainly intact for the foreseeable future, and although some salary cap issues could be in their relatively near future, the Chiefs have an ultimate trump card in Mahomes.

Does anyone in the NFL stand a chance against them in 2020? Anyone in the AFC West?

Everyone in the NFL is playing catch up with the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes ketchup pun fully intended.

The Chiefs are riding high on a parade of WWE belts, Tommy Bahama shirts, and the understanding they have the best quarterback of the new generation of NFL talent. Teams in the AFC West can’t just sit around, though. They have been working hard to keep up with Andy Reid and the Mahomses.

Which team is the most improved in the AFC West for the 2020 season?

Let’s take a look.
