2021 NFL Draft: The first tank for Trevor Lawrence mock draft
Had Penei Sewell been allowed to leave school after just two seasons, he probably would have been the top tackle prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft class and this was a loaded class.
In this particular scenario, Sewell gets the chance to go in and protect the blind side of Joe Burrow, the new prized franchise quarterback of the Cincinnati Bengals.
Burrow’s impact on the Bengals — if they can all stay relatively healthy — could make this one of the bigger turnaround stories of the NFL season in 2020, but if they are picking this high, they are going to need to consider further investing in their new franchise QB.
This kid doesn’t make mistakes. He’s as good of an offensive tackle prospect as we’ve seen in recent years and he’s a lock for the top five of next year’s draft.
