QB. Ohio State. 2. Pick Analysis. Justin Fields. player. 58. Scouting Report

The Georgia Bulldogs lost Justin Fields (and 2020 draft pick Jacob Eason, for that matter) when they decided to press onward and upward with Jake Fromm as their starting quarterback after the 2018 season.

Fields is a tremendous talent both as a passer and as a runner, and he got to put that on display this past season at Ohio State with 41 passing touchdowns, 10 rushing touchdowns, and a staggering three interceptions all season.

Fields is closer to Trevor Lawrence’s level as a prospect than people probably think or know at this point. He’s a tremendous physical talent with all of the skills you look for in a QB. So why the Washington Redskins? Don’t they already have another Ohio State quarterback they picked in round one on the roster?

I don’t think the Redskins are going to be picking this low in 2021, to be quite frank. Ron Rivera’s presence will be a huge factor in turning that franchise around, and the inclusion of Chase Young in that Washington defense is going to make a massive difference.

If they are picking this low again, however, Fields is the pick.
