EDGE- Casey Toohill, Stanford

The Seahawks brought back Bruce Irvin and have Rasheem Greene at the Leo position. If they do not target one early in the draft, I could see them targeting one late in day three. Seattle desperately needs edge rush badly and Casey Toohill could be a sleeper pass rusher for this team.

At 6-foot-4, 250-pound redshirt senior, Toohill had his best year last season as a starter, sacking the opposing quarterback eight times and 11.5 tackles for loss. The previous year, he started a few games in 2018 but had a few injuries in his career at Stanford.

He can be used as a situational rusher, as he develops more technique as a pass rusher. Some may see him as a tweener but Seattle targets leaner and more athletic defenders at edge rusher in their defense, making him a strong fit for the team.

CB- Madre Harper, Southern Illinois

The Seattle Seahawks traded for Quinton Dunbar (from the Washington Redskins) to lock up the second boundary cornerback spot. Shaquill Griffin has the top starting job but I would not be surprised if they take a late-round cornerback for depth. Seattle is known for targeting smaller school guys and have certain perimeters at outside cornerback.

Enter in Madre Harper, senior out of Southern Illinois. The small-school prospect is 6-foot-2, 190 pounds and has the height, weight and wingspan traits that fit the mold of a Seahawk.

He began at Oklahoma State but was suspended and dismissed for violating team rules. After going to Southern Illinois, Harper started last year and had two takeaways with 12 pass breakups. He might not get drafted, as he is a very raw prospect, but if he does; look for the risk-taking John Schneider to take a chance on him.
