Ranking 2020 NFL Draft prospects for the Green Bay Packers in the first four rounds.

The Green Bay Packers nearly reached another Super Bowl, but yet again suffered a major defeat on the road in the NFC Championship. The window to win with Aaron Rodgers continues to get smaller, and there are a few needs that Green Bay needs to address in the 2020 NFL Draft.

To give an idea of what prospects the Packers could select, here is a four-round horizontal big board with players ranked at every pick Green Bay has. The link to look at the board is right here!

A quick note before dissecting the rankings. This is where I have players ranked and where I believe the value is, not where they could go or where the NFL has players projected.

There are six players worth trading up for based on what the Packers need most. The top two tackles, Jedrick Wills and Tristan Wirfs are both worth trading up for given the opportunity. Add Javon Kinlaw into that, as pairing him with Kenny Clark would be outstanding. The top trio at wide receiver are all worth trading up for, as they’d all be true difference makers for Rodgers the moment they step on the field.

If the Packers stay put at 30, there are plenty of players worth selecting. Jalen Reagor or Laviska Shenault would bring speed and YAC ability at wide receiver, while Justin Jefferson would be the reliable, consistent separator in the passing game.

On defense, Patrick Queen would bring an instant impact in coverage, something the Packers haven’t had in some time. Corner and safety are bigger needs than some realize, and either Jeff Gladney or Xavier McKinney would be home run selections. McKinney can succeed playing single high, and Gladney is a feisty competitor with great ball skills.

Round two is where things get interesting at quarterback. This is where I’d be comfortable selecting Jordan Love to be the heir apparent to Rodgers. At linebacker, Akeem Davis-Gaither would bring speed and more versatility on defense.

Two names to watch in round three as far as gadget players go are Memphis’ Antonio Gibson and Texas’ Devin Duvernay. Either would be good fits in Matt LaFleur’s offense. Either Auburn tackle would make a ton of sense in round three.
