Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Cornerback. Jaylon Johnson. 27. Utah. player. 50

It was all part of the plan! As I mentioned when giving Derrick Brown to the Lions with the third overall pick of the 2020 NFL Mock Draft, quality cornerbacks can be had later in the draft.

Is Okudah better than Jaylon Johnson? Yeah, probably. Is Derrick Brown better than a nose tackle that would be taken in this area of the draft? Absolutely! Not even close.

Johnson is a productive player with good size, ball skills and toughness, as he played through a labrum injury in his shoulder this past season.

In this 2020 NFL Mock Draft scenario, the Lions and head coach Matt Patricia are able to bring in two very quality first-round picks who will contribute greatly right away as rookies.

Jalen Reagor. 28. player. Wide Receiver. TCU. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 60

After their division rivals jump up one spot ahead of them and take their target, the Minnesota Vikings opt to jump to the other side of the ball and bring in a talented weapon on the outside.

Minnesota traded away wide receiver Stefon Diggs earlier this offseason, leaving the wide receiver depth chart rather bare after Adam Thielen.

Bringing in a big-play, deep threat like Jalen Reagor would be a great move for the Vikings and their offense. Reagor suffered from abysmal quarterback play last season, making it difficult to stuff the stat sheet or produce quality film for scouts to evaluate.

Nonetheless, Reagor still has a good chance of going in the first round, or early day two at the very least, because of his clear playmaking ability. From short screens to deep bombs to kicks and punts, Reagor is a legitimate threat to score every time he touches the ball.

It would be fun to see what he can do with an NFL quarterback in a play action-based offense like Minnesota, giving him some easy early touches and opening things up for him downfield to go make a play.
