Pick Analysis. CB. Ohio State. Jeffrey Okudah. player. 44. Scouting Report. 4

The Atlanta Falcons paid good money for Dante Fowler Jr. and Grady Jarrett to create pressure up front. They invested two first-round picks on the offensive line and have invested a number of other first-round picks in key position players on the offensive side of the ball.

They traded a second-round pick for tight end Hayden Hurst.

This is a team that, despite finishing in the middle of the pack last year is all-in.

And this is the final move to signify it.

The Falcons trade a bounty of picks — including their 2021 first-rounder — to move up and entice the Giants to move down at four overall.

If you’re the Giants, taking the 16th and 47th picks in this draft and a 2021 first-rounder is a good enough deal to move down and take the best player that falls there.

For the Falcons, Jeffrey Okudah is the premiere shutdown cornerback in this draft class. He gives them a player capable of coming in from day one and locking down one side of the field with Isaiah Oliver and Kendall Sheffield playing the other corner positions.
