2020 NFL Draft: Final mock draft with shocking picks and big trades
Jaylon Johnson is one of the more underrated players in the 2020 NFL Draft.
He has three seasons of consistent production and improvement at Utah, showing great versatility by playing both inside and outside in Utah’s 4-2-5 defensive alignment.
As a true freshman for the Utes, Johnson tied for the team lead with six pass breakups. Over the next couple of seasons, he would establish himself as one of the most consistently dominant corners in the Pac 12.
The Vikings’ need at the cornerback position is obvious. It wouldn’t surprise me to see them use two of their picks in the first two rounds on the cornerback position after they released Xavier Rhodes and lost Trae Waynes and Mackensie Alexander in free agency.
Johnson would be a nice fit here in the later portion of round one and gives the Vikings a really solid duo of players in round one along with the speedy Jalen Reagor.
