LB. 6. player. 889. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Wake Forest. Justin Strnad

Arizona would probably like to address their linebacker position before the sixth round, but we cannot help how the board fell in this 2020 NFL mock draft. Plus, it is not like the linebacker position is loaded with impact players in this draft class. Instead of reaching in the earlier rounds, the Cardinals wait and find some value at the linebacker position late.

Justin Strnad is a quick and athletic linebacker prospect who fits the modern NFL well. He is a feisty competitor who shows impressive range at the position and solid overall coverage skills. Strnad does struggle a bit when trying to get away from blocks, but his overall athletic upside makes him a worthy selection in this range. The Cardinals need help at the linebacker position and Strnad could quickly grow into an exciting playmaker at the position.

884. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. SMU. player. WR. James Proche. 7

With their final pick of this 2020 NFL mock draft, the Arizona Cardinals find Kyler Murray another weapon in the passing attack. James Proche is not the most explosive wide receiver in this class, but he is quick in and out of his routes and shows an incredible pair of hands. This guy can come down with anything.

Proche is a solid route-runner who can create space and make a few plays after the catch. If nothing else, his dependable hands should keep him in the NFL as a dependable slot target for a while. Not bad for a seventh-round selection.
