Miami Dolphins 7-Round 2020 Mock Draft: Trading up from 18
While Shaq Lawson and Emmanuel Ogbah are nice adds for the Miami Dolphins, getting more help in the 2020 NFL Draft will be important. With the pick they acquired from the Raiders earlier, they select Notre Dame edge rusher Khalid Kareem.
Kareem fits the mold that Flores will want on defense. He’s got the length to succeed on the edge, whether that be winning with strong hand usage or working to set the edge against the run. Kareem doesn’t have to start right away on this defense, but he has the talent to be a rotational rusher early on with the potential to be a starter in a couple seasons.
The wide receiver position isn’t a big need for the Miami Dolphins right now. DeVante Parker finally caught fire in his fifth season in Miami, passing the 1,200 yard mark. Preston Williams also looked great before his injury. With both perimeter slots locked down for 2020, looking for a slot receiver would make sense.
Quartney Davis is a top slot option in the 2020 NFL Draft. Davis is crisp when snapping off routes, and is particularly adept at in-breakers, which fits with what Tua Tagovailoa likes in the passing game. Davis is also a dynamo after the catch and would be a great pick here in round four.
