Indianapolis Colts receive: 23rd overall 2020 NFL Draft pick
New England Patriots receive: 2nd round 2020 NFL Draft pick (34th overall) and 3rd round 2020 NFL Draft pick (75th overall)
The Indianapolis Colts signed Philip Rivers to lead their team during the 2020 season. However, they still need to find a long-term solution at the quarterback position. With Jordan Love falling down the board a bit in this mock draft, the Colts find themselves in a position to trade up and snag their new franchise quarterback.
Love is an extremely talented quarterback prospect who has massive upside at the next level. However, he is an extremely raw player who needs time to develop before taking meaningful NFL snaps. Trading up for Love in the 2020 NFL Draft makes sense for Indianapolis because they can afford to give him the time to properly develop. Allowing Rivers to take over the team in the short-term while developing Love for the long-term would be a recipe for success for the Colts.

Green Bay Packers receive: 24th overall 2020 NFL Draft pick
New Orleans Saints receive: 30th overall 2020 NFL Draft pick and 3rd round 2020 NFL Draft pick (94th overall)
The Green Bay Packers could sit back and hope that an impact target falls into their laps at No. 30, but in this mock draft, they take it into their own hands and trade up for wide receiver Denzel Mims.
Mims is a big and athletic target who shows tremendous speed on the outside. He shows legitimate deep speed and separates well against man coverage. Mims also shows an impressive catch radius and shines in contested-catch situations. Simply put, Mims has a fantastic combination of size, speed and playmaking ability. He could come in and become an immediate difference-maker for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers’ offense.
