Third round (two picks)

3a. Troy Pride, CB, Notre Dame

The Vikings obviously lost a lot at the cornerback position in free agency this offseason.

They cut former first-round pick Xavier Rhodes and watched former first- and second-round picks Trae Waynes and Mackensie Alexander both bolt for the Cincinnati Bengals.

After adding Noah Igbinoghene in the second round, the Vikings circle back with their first pick in the third round and take Notre Dame corner Troy Pride, a speedy outside corner who had 22 pass breakups and four interceptions over the last three seasons for the Irish.

He helps as the Vikings try to replenish their depth at cornerback through the draft.

3b. Bradlee Anae, EDGE, Utah

Although Bradlee Anae didn’t have the strongest showing at the Scouting Combine, he was dominant at the 2020 Senior Bowl, putting his edge rushing prowess on display.

The Vikings certainly need some pass rush depth off the edge and this is a guy who can provide it immediately as a rookie.

He had 40 tackles for loss and 29.5 sacks over his four years at Utah, including 13 sacks in his senior season.
