Day three picks

4. Khalil Davis, DL, Nebraska

A key contributor for the last four seasons with Nebraska, Davis had a breakthrough in his senior year with the Huskers, racking up 44 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and eight sacks.

His production from the interior defensive line would give the Vikings some needed depth.

5. Jordan Fuller, S, Ohio State

Staying in the Big Ten, the Vikings get a backup safety and special teams ace in Jordan Fuller who could help ease the losses of players like Andrew Sendejo and Jayron Kearse.

Fuller was a three-year starter for the Buckeyes’ secondary, picking off five passes in that timeframe.

6a. Joe Bachie, LB, Michigan State

Another defensive player who can provide some added value on special teams, Bachie was on pace for three straight years of 100-plus tackles, but a positive PED test limited him to eight games this past season. He was also quite productive in coverage for Michigan State and has good quickness in space.

6b. Cameron Clark, OL, Charlotte

A tackle/guard prospect, Cameron Clark can give the Vikings a developmental prospect for the interior with starter potential and traits.

7a. Isaiah Coulter, WR, Rhode Island

In this draft, which is loaded at receiver, the Vikings might be like most teams looking to take two. Isaiah Coulter is an intriguing height/weight/speed player who really came on this past season for Rhode Island, opening the eyes of NFL talent evaluators.

7b. Nate Stanley, QB, Iowa

Nate Stanley played in an offense at Iowa that will allow him to seamlessly transition to a program like the one Gary Kubiak is running in Minnesota. He would be a very solid QB3 for the Vikings with QB2 potential.

7c. Cordel Iwuagwu, OL, TCU

Iwuagwu has taken quite the pre-draft tour of FaceTime visits. He might be one of the more coveted late-round players on the interior offensive line with potential but not consistent enough tape.
