If the Los Angeles Rams aren’t lucky enough to land one of those blue-chip linebackers, another name they could target, if they are able to secure a trade partner at the end of the first, could be edge-rusher, Zack Baun.

The Rams lost their top two outside pass rushers this offseason in Dante Fowler (signed with the Falcons) and Clay Mathews (released) and didn’t really address those losses outside of bringing in former Bear and first-round disappointment, Leonard Floyd.

With so much uncertainty at the position, trading-up for a pass rusher would make a lot of sense.

Baun is a highly intelligent and versatile player out of Wisconsin, who did the bulk of his damage as a pass rusher in his senior season, where he racked up 12.5 sacks and 19.5 tackles for a loss.

He is built well for a 3-4 EDGE prospect and has shown a solid collection of pass rush moves to get after the quarterback. He’s got enough athleticism and quickness to beat tackles to their spot and can also contribute when dropping into coverage as well.

I really like the fit here and he has plenty of likable traits that make Baun a prime trade-up target for the Los Angeles Rams.
