Scouting Report. Iowa. Tristan Wirfs. 11. Pick Analysis. OT. player. 30

Surrounding Sam Darnold with as much talent as possible on offense should be a focus for the Jets this offseason. Their tackle situation last season wasn’t awful, but it sure wasn’t good either. Left tackle Kelvin Beachum is now a free agent.

Tristan Wirfs put on a show at the combine posting a 4.85 40 yard dash, a modern offensive linemen record 36.5-inch vertical leap, and a tied for modern offensive linemen record 10-foot-1 inch broad jump, according to NFL.com. This performance proved just how freakish of an athlete he is and gave him a case to be the first tackle taken in April.

He is an intriguing prospect with a lot of potential. He’s 6-foot-5, 322 pounds and moves pretty well for a man for that big. The best part of his game however is his ridiculous strength. He simply manhandles defenders at times on film. He’s always firing off the snap as a run blocker and he could become an absolute mauler in that area.

player. 28. Oklahoma. CeeDee Lamb. 12. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR

The Raiders have a solid collection of young receivers with Hunter Renfrow, Tyrell Williams and Zay Jones, but none of those guys are true number one options. If CeeDee Lamb is still on the board, I don’t see Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock passing up on adding him to this offense.

After outstanding performances from the offensive tackle class and Isaiah Simmons, it seems more and more likely that some top tier wide receivers could fall and that means someone could get an absolute steal if Lamb does fall.

Lamb is very NFL ready and will produce right away for whoever drafts him. He is an outstanding route runner, is very quick in and out of his breaks, has good hands, and is an absolute nightmare to try to break down after the catch. There is a picture of him against Texas where he’s surrounded by four Texas defenders and somehow still scores. Ultimately, it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see him contend for Rookie of the Year and he could develop into a top 10 receiver in the league.
