Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Oklahoma. Kenneth Murray. 23. LB. player. 49

The New England Patriots are always a candidate to trade down and they do so here with the Green Bay Packers. If they are not able to bring back Blake Martinez in free agency, the Packers could be aggressive in addressing their need at off-ball linebacker. In this 2020 NFL Draft scenario, they trade up from 30 to 23 to take Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray.

Murray is an extremely active and athletic linebacker prospect who is fantastic at playing downhill. He is a rangy linebacker who covers a lot of ground as a run defender and creates a ton of pressure when asked to blitz. Murray has some deficiencies in coverage, but he undoubtedly has the athleticism to get the job done against a variety of players.

Murray is an extremely gifted linebacker prospect who could make an immediate impact for the Packers at a position of need. He also has plenty of long-term upside and could be the guy who leads their defense from the middle for many years.

WR. player. Pick Analysis. Colorado. Laviska Shenault Jr.. 24. 15. Scouting Report

Michael Thomas is one of the single best wide receivers in the entire NFL, but if the New Orleans Saints are going to reach their ultimate offensive ceiling, they need to form a more well-rounded group of receivers. Here, they take a shot on Laviska Shenault Jr., an extremely fast and elusive wide receiver prospect who played a variety of roles in college.

Shenault is a tremendous run after catch player who the Saints should be able to manufacture touches for early on. However, he is undoubtedly a raw player who may be more of a gadget guy early on. If Shenault can improve his route running and become a more well-rounded player, he could quickly become the missing piece in the Saints offense.
