By adding Chaisson, Davidson and Davis-Gaither, the Atlanta Falcons have already significantly improved their defensive front seven here. In the fifth round of this 2020 NFL mock draft, the Falcons work on their secondary by bringing in former Temple cornerback Harrison Hand.

Hand is a long and aggressive defensive back who shows impressive physicality in coverage. He is not the quickest cornerback in the class, but he shows impressive zone coverage skills and attacks the ball in the air extremely well.

His natural upside in coverage is a bit limited, but Hand is a solid cover corner on the outside who also shows tackles well in space. Hand is never going to be a lockdown cornerback, but he is a rock-solid player who could provide quality depth for the Falcons at an important defensive position.

With their final pick of this 2020 NFL mock draft, the Falcons take a shot on some more defensive upside. Khalil Davis is an extremely athletic interior defensive line prospect who has obvious upside as a one-gap penetrator at the next level.

Davis gets off of the ball quickly, plays with great pad level and shows solid hand usage as a pass rusher. If nothing else, Davis should be able to make an impact as an interior rusher on obvious passing downs.
