Buffalo Bills 7-round 2020 NFL mock draft: Building around Josh Allen
When the actual 2020 NFL Draft rolls around, I expect Terrell Burgess to go higher than this. He will likely be a late-Day 2, early-Day 3 kind of guy, but in this mock draft, he is on the board for the Bills in the sixth round.
Burgess is an impressive coverage safety who shines in man-to-man coverage. He shows a lot of promise as a slot defender and is great against most tight ends and running backs. Burgess fits the modern NFL extremely well and would be a welcomed addition to the already loaded Buffalo Bills defense.
Darius Anderson is an extremely quick and shifty running back prospect who is dangerous in the open field. Anderson shows plenty of promise in the passing game, is a naturally elusive ball carrier and has great contact balance for a smaller back. He would be an ideal change-of-pace back for the Bills, complementing Devin Singletary extremely well.
With their final pick of this seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft, the Buffalo Bills swing for the fences on some upside at the edge rusher position. Kendall Coleman was never the most productive player in college, but there were undoubtedly impressive flashes of brilliance in his game.
Coleman was far too inconsistently to get overly excited about, but he does get off of the ball quickly, shows some nice power at the point of attack and can bend around the edge a bit. He needs to become a more consistent player if he is ever to reach his full potential, but Coleman is an exciting talent who could end up being a massive steal in this range.
