In this seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft, the Cincinnati Bengals take advantage of having their coaches at the Senior Bowl and select many players who they will soon learn a lot about.

The Cincinnati Bengals have a significant opportunity to greatly improve their long-term stock this offseason. Not only do the Bengals hold the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, but their coaching staff is also representing them this week at the Senior Bowl. This may not seem like much of an edge, but getting a week to closely coach and learn more about these players can make a major difference for a draft class.

Head coach Zac Taylor and his staff will coach the South squad which is led by quarterback Justin Herbert. While the Bengals are unlikely to take Herbert with the first overall pick, crazier things have happened. It is not completely unrealistic to see the Bengals falling in love with Herbert during their week coaching him and putting him at the top. I do not think it will happen, but it certainly could.

In this post, we are going go seven rounds deep with the Cincinnati Bengals and put together a complete 2020 NFL mock draft. However, this is not a normal seven-round mock draft. With the Bengals coaching the South squad at the Senior Bowl this week, we are going to load up this mock with players who are on the South Senior Bowl roster.

In this mock, we give the Bengals their obvious first overall selection of Joe Burrow, but after that, only Senior Bowl prospects who are on the South roster. I think you will be surprised by how strong this draft class ends up. Without further ado, here is a complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Note: This mock draft was completed using The Draft Network’s mock draft simulator.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. LSU. Joe Burrow. player. QB. 1. 817

I wanted to, but I just could not pull the trigger on Herbert here. We can basically put this one in ink already. Joe Burrow is a fantastic quarterback prospect and would be the perfect guy to inject some life into the Bengals’ franchise. He will be the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and taking anybody else here would be a mistake. Alright, let’s have a little fun and find the Bengals some Senior Bowl prospects.
