Round 2, No. 59 Overall: Trey Adams, OT, Washington

The Seattle Seahawks made a big move in the 2018 season by acquiring Duane Brown from the Houston Texans. Brown, when healthy, has been a stabilizing force on that offensive line. However, one good player doesn’t make a great offensive line, and Seattle hasn’t had a quality one since the first half of the previous decade.

This is where someone like Trey Adams can help. While Adams struggled with injuries in 2017 and 2018, he played like a first-round talent in 2019. He bullied opponents at the point of attack and was strong in the run game, while also being the only tackle in the Pac 12 to handle pass rusher Bradlee Anae. As long as he tests out fine medically, he’d be a great addition.

Round 2, No. 64 Overall: Darrell Taylor, EDGE, Tennessee

Like I stated in the first slide, the pass rush needs some serious help with no true impact behind Jadeveon Clowney. They will have some options at the end of round two in the draft, and one of those options is Darrell Taylor.

Another senior selection, Taylor is a very good athlete on the edge who can win around the edge and with an inside move. He also has a great motor and doesn’t ever give up on the play. His run defense is a little shaky, but while he develops in that area, let him come in on third down and excel as a pass rusher.
