5. K’Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU

Edge Rusher Rank: 4, Overall Rank: 24

K’Lavon Chaisson is a dynamic playmaker for this LSU defense. He is a versatile athlete that can rush the passer or drop-back into zone coverage effectively. He brings the energy for the Tigers’ front-seven and is going to play a huge role in this National Championship.

Chaisson’s ability to get pressure on Trevor Lawerence is an X-Factor in the outcome of this game. If Lawerence has time in the pocket, he will pick this defense apart little-by-little, so an effective pass-rush led by Chaisson will play a significant role in the success of this defense. A big game by Chaisson could really spark his draft stock and make him an unquestioned first-round prospect.

6. Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson

Wide Receiver Rank: 5, Overall Rank: 25

Tee Higgins is a reliable, do-it-all receiver for Trevor Lawerence. He is a dynamic receiver with the ball in the air. He does a great job of high-pointing the football and working through contact to complete the catch. He will be heavily relied upon to make big plays downfield for this Clemson offense.

He will be faced with arguably his toughest task yet. This LSU defensive backs unit is complete with elite talent at both cornerback spots and safety. Higgins’ ability to win in one-on-one situations will be instrumental for this offense to find success in the passing game against LSU.

7. Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson

Running Back Rank: 3, Overall Rank: 32

Travis Etienne is easily one of the most explosive athletes on the field at all times. He is a consistent threat to make the big-play and is a dynamic player in space. After an impressive performance against Ohio State, Etienne is looking to follow it up with another against LSU.

Travis Etienne is a premier running back prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft and will be faced with a difficult decision whether to declare or not following this game. I expect Etienne to forego his senior season and enter the draft, but the outcome of this game could go into his decision following.
