Round 4, No. 120 Overall: Jordyn Brooks, LB, Texas Tech

The New Orleans Saints will need to find players who could provide an impact on day three to really hit home this 2020 draft class, especially in the fourth round. Here, they select Jordyn Brooks, a linebacker from Texas Tech. Brooks is an athletic linebacker who can work in space and diagnose plays. He’s also an excellent finisher and sure tackler. With Demario Davis a free agent after 2020, it’s time to find more depth behind him, and Brooks would be a good fit.

Round 5, No. 151 Overall: Davon Hamilton, IDL, Ohio State

There are always a few gems in every draft class from day three, and Davon Hamilton would be one at this point in the draft process. Sheldon Rankins becomes a free agent after the 2020 season, and Malcom Brown is only signed through 2021. To keep the defensive line a strong suit, adding Hamilton would be great here. Hamilton is a body mover on the defensive line, and he gave Tyler Biadasz some headaches in both of Ohio State and Wisconsin’s meetings.

Round 6, No. 183 Overall: A.J. Green, CB, Oklahoma State

Rounding out the draft for the Saints is their selection of A.J. Green, a corner from Oklahoma State. Green hasn’t gotten a lot of attention, so the Senior Bowl will be good for him. Green can play either in off coverage or near the line of scrimmage and shows physicality near the line of scrimmage against receivers.
