LSU. 6. player. Pick Analysis. RB. 817. Scouting Report. Clyde Edwards-Helaire

Ranking Clyde Edwards-Helaire as the sixth-best running back in the 2020 NFL draft class may seem a little crazy to some, but this guy is for real. Edwards-Helaire has an impressive combination of skills that makes him a perfect fit for the modern NFL.

He is a smart and instinctive runner who gets to the hole quickly and is always moving forward. CEH works through traffic extremely well, keeping his feet moving and starting and stopping on a dime when needed.

He is also elusive in the open field and shows plenty of natural power at the point of attack. CEH is an extremely hard-working player who consistently picks up extra yardage after contact. He can make defenders miss with his elusiveness and grind out extra yards with power and impressive contact balance.

On top of all that, CEH is among the best receivers out of the backfield in the 2020 NFL draft class. He is a smooth route runner who LSU trusts to run a variety of routes. He also catches the ball extremely well and is always ready to stick his head down and pick up extra yards after the catch.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire is a talented running back prospect who shows fantastic competitive toughness and fits the modern NFL extremely well. He could end up being a massive steal for a team in the middle of the 2020 NFL Draft.

7. 843. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Utah. RB. Zack Moss. player

Zack Moss is not the most exciting or explosive running back in the 2020 NFL draft class, but he is a rock-solid player who is going to be productive at the next level. Moss shows great ball carrier vision and does a great job of working through traffic in the middle of the field. He is naturally elusive in space and finishes with good power and keeps his feet well.

Moss is never going to be a big-play back who explodes through the hole and to the end zone, but he is a good player who is always going to keep the chains moving. I wish Moss had shown more as a receiver out of the backfield, but he is a good pass protector, keeping his three-down value intact.
