Oklahoma. Neville Gallimore. Pick Analysis. Defensive tackle. 31. player. 36. Scouting Report

The Seattle Seahawks are rolling once again in the NFC behind a strong running game, incredible magic from Russell Wilson, and a defense that is opportunistic and can create turnovers. All of that has put them on the brink of securing the number one seed in the NFC.

However, no team is perfect, and for the Seahawks, they’ll be heading into the 2020 NFL Draft with just one goal in mind: improving the trenches on both sides of the ball. Wilson is still getting sacked three times per game, which is good for 23rd in the league. They are also tied for 29th in sacks as a team. So what will they do at this spot?

In this mock, they opt for the defensive side of the ball. Jadeveon Clowney has been a force this season, but he’s always been more dominant as a run defender. This defensive line needs some more juice and someone who can rush the passer. Oklahoma defensive tackle Neville Gallimore might be just what they need.

Gallimore is a fantastic athlete for his size and brings a lot to the table as a pass rusher from the interior. He shows great quickness off the snap and enough moves as a rusher to find the field early in his career. The Seahawks will love his effort plays, where he turns and runs players down from behind.
