2020 NFL Draft: Raiders mock draft with big trade up for QB
The Raiders have some intriguing offensive weapons, including last year’s first-round pick Josh Jacobs at the running back position, breakout tight end Darren Waller, and a big-money free agent in Tyrell Williams at receiver.
The Raiders also have a solid slot in Hunter Renfrow, but they are lacking some depth at the receiver position overall.
Luckily for them, this is one of the deepest receiver classes we’ve seen come along in some time.
That’s one reason why Denzel Mims, a senior from Baylor who has 27 touchdowns over the last three seasons, is going slightly overlooked.
Mims is 6-foot-3 and has blazing speed, a big catch radius, and obviously a history of making a lot of plays in the passing game. He could be another piece to the puzzle for this Raiders team offensively as they make their move to Las Vegas and try to light up the scoreboard with Tua driving the ship at the quarterback position with Jacobs as the lead back.
Mims would be a fun piece with his ability to get vertical and make plays after the catch.
