The Raiders have been scouring free agency and the waiver wire for solutions at the linebacker position since the 2019 offseason.

They need to address that position once and for all in 2020, and I think one of the most intriguing players no one is really talking about is Texas Tech linebacker Jordyn Brooks, one of the top playmakers defensively in the Big 12.

Brooks has been a tackling machine for the Red Raiders and racked up 108 total tackles this season with 20 tackles for loss and three sacks. This guy is fearless attacking the football and that kind of mentality is exactly what the Raiders have been looking for.

In the middle of the third round of the draft, I think Brooks is a nice steal and a possible day one starter for a Raiders team trying to establish a culture of high-effort, high intensity at every position group.
