Scouting Report. Colorado. Laviska Shenault Jr.. 49. Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver. 27. player

Laviska Shenault Jr. is one of the most versatile and dynamic offensive weapons int he 2020 NFL Draft. He is a big play waiting to happen as a receiver and carries the ball like a running back. He has seen time at tight end and wildcat quarterback, killing opposing defenses in a variety of ways.

Although he has dealt with quite a few injuries in his time at Colorado, Shenault has always been productive. In just nine games in 2018, Shenault hauled in over 1,000 yards receiving. His numbers this year haven’t been quite as impressive, but Shenault will be a valuable commodity at the next level.

Behind Davante Adams, Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have a whole lot of recognizable names to throw to. They filled in well when Adams missed some time with turf toe, but how much of that was Rodgers? Shenault would pair well with Adams and give head coach Matt LaFleur a fun tool to work with on offense.

Throw it to him deep down the field and let him run under it, throw it to him at the line of scrimmage and let him do the rest, hand it off to him, snap it to him, have him return kicks, Shenault can do it all. He’s no gimmick either. He is a sound route runner and can be a very good receiver in the NFL.

Scouting Report. Defensive Tackle. 28. Pick Analysis. South Carolina. Javon Kinlaw. player. 36

As a senior, Javon Kinlaw has improved every year at South Carolina and is peaking at the right time to become a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. With career highs in tackles (35) and sacks (6.0), Kinlaw has shown his ability to make an impact and goes to Seattle defense that is lacking playmakers in the middle of their line.

For such a big man, Kinlaw is surprisingly slippery. He can use his strength to take on a block but he excels at quick evasive moves to get by the blocker and to the ball carrier. These moves make him a very effective interior pass rusher.

The Seahawks have had a very impressive season and don’t have a ton of holes on their roster (like most teams picking this late in the draft). But they could stand to beef up their defensive front and Kinlaw would be a welcomed addition between some of the talented edge rushers that they have on their roster.
