Indianapolis Colts

This is the pairing that makes the most sense for Jordan Love in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Indianapolis Colts are in a great situation to land Love in the draft and let him develop for a season or two.

The Colts didn’t get it done in 2019 with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback, but he would be a perfect bridge in this situation. He’s already signed through the 2020 season, which gives Love the season he needs to sit and develop with Frank Reich as his head coach. Reich has put together a very good offense in Indy and having someone with the tools Love has could put this team over the top.

There is also so much to like about this landing spot when you look past the quarterback and head coach. The offensive line is a great unit that could be in place for a long time with young guns Quenton Nelson and Braden Smith leading the way. Don’t forget about two reliable tight ends in Jack Doyle and Eric Ebron.

Yes, there aren’t many weapons outside of T.Y. Hilton at receiver, and the defense still needs some help. But, that’s what’s great about the Colts situation. Even if they spend a first round pick on Love, they have two other picks in the top 50 to address other positions and can get later round help at receiver.

Keep pounding the table for this Colts fans, because Jordan Love can transform the offense.
